Adults’ Classes

This is the perfect starting point for anyone new to grappling. Split into six distinct classes:
Naked strangles, back control, front headlock, go behinds
Triangles, guard retention, closed guard, upper body grip fighting (standing)
Arm bars, mount, half guard, standing body locks
Twisting armlocks, side control, splitting legs to hold someone down, grip fighting with leg attacks (standing)
Arm in strangles, progressing from hip control to chest or back control, lifting a leg to hold someone down
Ankle locks, single leg takedowns, knocking a standing player down from bottom position, hip control to hold someone down

Suitable for all levels with a focus on the fundamental skills required to be a competent grappler. The whole syllabus takes 3 months to run through.

This class focuses on building the skills and physical capacity required for competition success. Expect a high intensity class with a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Less structured session, where we can share ideas and work on specific areas in a more collaborative style.

No teaching, use these sessions to do what you want: free sparring, your own games or even just having a chat. These sessions are open to all members.

Free and open to everyone from all gyms — although complete beginners may benefit more from the classes with more structure.

Free to attend for people from all gyms. Structured positional and free sparring rounds for serious competitors.
